Default Missed quest skills

Hi all, I'm about 2 1/2 hours into post-searing Ascalon and realized that I somehow managed to miss the pre-searing quest A Test of Marksmanship, which awards the skills Read the Wind and Point Blank Shot. Should I just go ahead and buy the skills from the trainer, or will I regret having spent the two skill points later in the game? Thanks.

eventually you will get to the point where you have more skill points then you can possibly use. Don't fear running out while you might early on it's doubtful that it will be a big issue

For most new players, running out of money becomes a very real issue before running out of skill points does.
I've only ever run out of skill points once, and that was because I just transfered money over to a lvl 7 character and bought skills until he was out. But eventually it doesn't matter, as once you start doing missions, you'll get more skill points than you can handle.

My ranger has almost every ranger skill and 50% skills for most secondaries and I still have 766 points left to spend even though I don't have use for any other skills.

points at start may seem to run out easily but dont despair as further through the game you will easily rebuild skill points ( especially when you have done a campaign and have hardmode for it ).

Just be sure to keep a lookout for skill quests, there are a lot in prophesies.

Also remember that the skills increase in price by the trainer. The first skill you buy cost 50g i think, then the price is slowly rising to 1000g each. So don't just buy all the skills you can see. Some skills are quite weak, others are better, so be a bit conservative when buying.

Since you're in Prophecies, I would use as much as those discounted skill costs (50g, raising steadily to 1000g) for Signet of Capture, and do as many skill quests I could.
As for regular skills I would only buy unlock for skills when I find the need for them.

It really doesn't matter, eventually you'll spend 1k on a skill or a signet of capture and while buying signets gives you a couple of cheaper elites, you'll pay more for the regular skills you buy.
